It is a rule of life that in every profession or vocation, if we are to perform at optimum level, there's need to be equipped with knowledge. The overwhelming majority are entering marriage without knowledge. Many people are more interested in planning their wedding than their marriage. Hence the alarming divorce rate as we have today. Fifty percent of marriages end in divorce.

Due to the hype in emotional fantasy during the dating process, many have reasoned: "This relationship feels so good, what could possibly go wrong? I don't need help or pre-marriage preparation", until they get married and discovered that they are a novice to matters relating to conflict resolution, sex, communication, dealing with in-laws, managing money, understanding their partner's needs, and dealing with the expectation of their spouse.
